Mr. Silverstein is a top criminal attorney. He is knowledgeable and knows the criminal law to the best. When I met him for the first time he knew how to approach my case and was able to dismiss it without any records in place.He is very professional and supportive. He was present at all of my hearings and the judges respect him a lot. His staff are very professional and supportive. He responded to all my calls and emails on time. First off, I am the type of guy that has trouble trusting anyone that wants my money, not to mention lawyers in general. I had gotten my second dui for marijuana. I did some searches and phone calls and was most impressed with Mr. Silverstein when I spoke to him on the phone. He doesnt give off the sleezeball vibe most lawyers will give off within the first ten seconds of meeting them. Mr Silverstein had a very professional phone presence. I ended up speaking with him in his office. Face to face you can tell he is very serious and attentive to all my questions. He made no outrageous promises and worked with us financially. He was NEVER pushy about money. His has a very serious and professional demeanor which im sure impresses anybody he speaks with at any courthouse. He WILL take your case seriously and do his research and use any resource he may have to help your case. He has resources that he used on my case that dealt with my dui involving marijuana. I ended up getting no jailtime with an alcohol program, a wet reckless[which i was already on but he managed to get me on this again, the lady at the alcohol program i applied to was shocked because this never happens], and some community labor. considering this was my second dui and I was ALREADY on probation this is an amazing result. I HIGHLY recommend you at least have a meeting with Mr. Silverstein before going to some sleezeball lawyers office who just wants money and makes false promises. When you hire Mr Silverstein there is no doubt he will be fighting for your case and working for you diligently. I like to think I have good character judgement. I went with my gut, and it worked.

James Silverstein represented me for an extremely difficult case which took many months and some clever jousting, for want of a better word, and managed to achieve a favorable result. I never thought I'd be writing a review like this but I must give credit where it's due. James drove many miles to try and get me out of a situation I never should have been in, and he succeeded! I am truly grateful. Though I was a complete hot mess on the inside from all the worked up anxiety over my case, after hearing those wonderful words in court, "Case dismissed", I thought to myself that it was quicker and less painless than a DMV appointment! James Silverstein is-hands down- the best Criminal Defense attorney and I cant begin to thank him for all that he did for me . I was aSuspect in a Domestic Violence case, ( Never arrested) upon learning their was an open Investigation I immediately retained Mr Silverstein to conduct a pre-filling Investigation and contacting the Investigating Detective on my behalf , Mr Silverstein was able to convince the Detective by presenting evidence beyond a reasonable doubt I could have not done what was alleged . After further conversation with Detective a decision was made by the Detective to recommend ( No charges be filed) , the District Attorney with-in 72 hours of receiving completed Investigation Rejected Criminal charges being filed against me . I recommend Mr Silverstein to any one facing Criminal charges or have reason to believe they are a Suspect in a Criminal Investigation to contact Mr Silverstein . Im a Retired Policeman and know in the Criminal Justice system you are Guilty until proven innocent !

I have nothing but the best to say about James. He is patient and kind, responded to every single one of my emails with care and understanding. He made my case a priority to him, he never took longer than a few hours (if not minutes) to respond to me, even if I had the dumbest question.
